Julia Lundeberg, LMFT, is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with empathy, expertise, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Serving clients across California, Julia offers support to adolescents, adults, and seniors through individual, family, and group therapy. She is passionate about creating a collaborative and safe environment where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful growth and healing. Whether addressing complex mental health issues or helping clients manage life transitions, Julia empowers individuals to rediscover their resilience and build healthier lives.

Julia is particularly passionate about working with clients recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals, those engaged in court-ordered treatment, and individuals navigating workers’ compensation, parental custody, or disability paperwork. She provides compassionate, solutions-oriented care to support her clients in processing their experiences and regaining stability. By tailoring her approach to each unique situation, Julia ensures that her clients feel understood and equipped to move forward with confidence.

With more than two decades of experience, Julia specializes in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders, alongside challenges like midlife and later-life transitions. She also works extensively with adolescents and their families, focusing on family dynamics and adolescent development. Julia incorporates interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to provide practical tools for coping and long-term well-being. Her inclusive practice serves diverse populations, including first responders, military veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Outside of her professional life, Julia is deeply passionate about indigenous cultures and the neurophysiology of psychotherapy. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and pets, finding balance and inspiration in her personal life that enhances her therapeutic practice.
