Hello, my name is Jess and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Whether you are just starting therapy or a return client, welcome! Making your own mental health a priority is not easy, but I believe it’s necessary to take care of ourselves before we take on the responsibilities of daily life. I do my best to make the therapeutic process a collaborative journey to ensure that I’m working with you to build upon your own individual strengths. I will make sure that we go at your pace in therapy, while being open and receptive to feedback. I want to know that you are benefitting from our time together. I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive tendencies, trauma, self-esteem issues, and change of life challenges. I have a range of experiences working with adults as I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Seeking Safety. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents and I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Managing and Adapting Practices. Finally, my most recent trainings have been in dyadic work with the birth to five population, working to build attachment and offer support in parenting. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State Fullerton and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California.
