About Stephanie Skanes (She/Her)
Stephanie is a licensed clinical social worker and has been working in the helping profession since 2003. Stephanie graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2009 and her masters in Social Work in 2012.
Stephanie understands therapy can be scary especially for those who have experienced trauma. Stephanie takes great care to make her clients feel safe, understood, and validated. Stephanie enjoys a collaborative approach to care and believes her clients are the expert in their own life and need assistance identifying their own strengths they already possess.
In her spare time Stephanie enjoys a good laugh with friends, playing with her dog, spending time with family, and has recently been working on seeing cooking as a hobby instead of a chore.
