Susan Dawson, MA, LPC
Susan Dawson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2022. She has a BA in Liberal Studies with a Human Development emphasis from California State University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
Susan believes that a strong, collaborative, and non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship is key to a successful client experience. She has a genuine desire to know and compassionately support the mind, body, and spirit of her clients. She takes a holistic and integrative approach to helping clients tap into their strengths and identify the barriers, vulnerabilities, and unhelpful patterns that are keeping them stuck. Susan’s role is to help clients set attainable goals and provide tools for finding empowerment, meaningful connections, self-acceptance, peace of mind, and whole-person wellness. Her hope is that her clients leave treatment feeling resilient, balanced, healthy, and ready to experience all the joy that life has to offer.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys hiking with her dogs, cooking, reading, meditation, yoga, spending quality time with friends and family, laughing, seeing live music, traveling, and exploring new sights, activities, arts, and culture.
