Sarah Booth, LPC
Do relationships seem hard? Are you struggling in work or can’t find the right work-life balance? Maybe you feel too afraid or anxious to leave the house? Do you feel broken? Sarah Booth, Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in Colorado, knows that you are far from broken. Rather, past traumas, negative coping skills, or unhealthy patterns may be preventing you from living freely and happily. Sarah is here to help you find the root cause and discover the best version of yourself. Sarah is very familiar with discovering new pathways to manage our emotions and deal with past traumatic experiences.
She began her professional career in a corporate environment— managing and running businesses—before changing course and becoming a stay-at-home mother to care for her two daughters. She returned to the workforce as a virtual assistant for a Speech Language Pathologist, and was inspired by the patients’ improvements in treatment and the pathologist’s invaluable impact. These moving stories combined with her 22-year-old nephew’s suicide death motivated her to leave corporate America and pursue her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Addictions Counseling from the University of Colorado Springs. Sarah has also worked in specific settings for patients suffering from addictions or domestic violence and supported religious trauma victims.
Additionally, helping other mothers find a healthy life balance is a specialty. Sarah’s most proud accomplishment is being present with her girls. Together they enjoy trips to hot springs, museums, paddle boarding, and camping. Sarah feels honored to raise her “cool humans” (as she fondly calls her daughters) and is eager to join you on your therapeutic journey.
