You’ll feel comfortable during sessions with Andrew in the non-judgmental, friendly space he provides. Understanding that therapy takes time and is not a quick fix, you’ll journey toward improving your reality.

Andrew welcomes his client to bring to session whatever they wish to focus on; no concern is too big or small. He can help each client identify, establish, and meet therapeutic goals to positively impact their everyday functioning and daily living. He can assist individuals and families to understand their concerns while providing them with tools to help them work through and overcome those concerns.

Andrew engages in active listening with reflective questions to help clients improve their insight into their thoughts and behaviors. He uses therapeutic activities and games to help clients improve their social interactions, assertiveness, and self-esteem. He also likes to incorporate psycho-educational videos during therapy to help with visualization, mediation, and grounding techniques. Client-centered therapy is at the core of Andrew’s care and he draws from many modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Guided Meditation. When working with a children and youth, he’ll incorporate Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Addiction Studies, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. His experience includes providing more than 1,000 hours of supervised therapy to adolescents, teenagers, and families in a variety of settings, such as in home, remotely, and an intensive outpatient facility.
