Chelsea is a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (C-DBT) who specializes in helping young adults with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) who experience difficulties with emotional regulation, maintaining relationships, and feeling misunderstood. Her goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can learn effective coping skills, build self-awareness, and create meaningful connections. Through evidenced-based DBT techniques, she helps clients move from emotional chaos to a life filled with stability and confidence. You’ll also feel your spirits lift when Chelsea infuses humor into your time together, when appropriate, of course.

Therapy with Chelsea is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating intense emotions, struggling with self-worth, or feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, Chelsea is here to guide you with compassion and practical strategies. Together, you and Chelsea will work toward building emotional resilience, improving relationships, and fostering a greater sense of control in your life. Chelsea also helps children and adolescents overcome disruptive, impulsive, and mood-related behaviors.

The experiences that Chelsea has had working in the mental health field over the last 10+ years have contributed to her approach with all clients who she comes across. Chelsea often uses active listening as she believes many individuals go through life never feeling truly heard. Additionally, it is nice to know that Chelsea, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, has worked in many settings, from a trauma-based residential treatment facility to a crisis-response team. Chelsea looks forward to utilizing her specialties, education, and experiences to help you overcome the difficulties that have significantly impacted your life.
