You’ll feel welcomed into a caring, accepting and comfortable environment when you meet with Dayna. She’s dedicated to creating a space where you’ll feel free to express your inner thoughts and feelings, which can increase self-awareness and self-acceptance. The humor she uses from time to time will help you feel at ease and lighten the mood. She strongly believes that you are the expert on your life, and will take a non-directive approach to treatment and let you guide the way toward your healing.

Dayna’s clients can learn to overcome and re-frame maladaptive ways of thinking about themselves and the world. This change in mindset can help clients to overcome depression, anxiety, relational issues, grief and loss, everyday stress, and trauma. Her therapy style uses empathy and reflective listening to assist clients in processing the underlying causes of their issues. She uses normalization and validation to help clients re-frame the self-critical inner voice. She teaches clients to show compassion and kindness to themselves so they become empowered to make the changes they need to make to live their best life. Modalities she incorporates into therapy include CBT, DBT, person-centered, mindfulness, narrative, and existential.

Dayna has a Master’s degree in counseling and experience working in various crisis and community mental health settings.

My therapist is amazing! She has been consistent but flexible throughout my time with her. I have made real gains and it's really due to the constant support and care that I have gotten from her. "Mindfulness" has much more meaning to me now than when we first began I didn't really think I could be happy or "alright" ever again, but here I am! Living and starting to feel joy and happiness. Thank you Lifestance too for teletherapy. I couldn't go into an office, teletherapy is invaluable! Sincerely, AS

Dayna is the 5th therapist I’ve been with and with her, I’ve made the most genuine progress in my journey so far. She challenges me in all the ways I need it, supports and applauds my growth, and always makes me feel like I’m in a safe space. She has helped me regain control over my trauma responses and helped me see healthy paths more clearly. I am forever grateful to her and her care for me.

Amazing, absolutely amazing. Helped me work out things I had left unresolved for years in a way where I truly felt validated and heard. I’ve honestly recommend to a few of friends to use this program just because of Dayna and how she’s helped me!

Booking was fine. I don’t know why one has to do it more than once for one appointment. Birthdate and Initials might be enough?
