Active listening is the modality she often leans on to facilitate and support clients in their processes of change. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master in Science degree in Special Education with a focus on the emotionally handicapped and learning disabled from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York, Sharon has 30 years of experience providing individual and group counseling, mostly in community mental health co-occurring disorders programs and settings.
