About Anasia Sturdivant (She/Her)

Anasia Sturdivant helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Colorado navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals facing concerns such as depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma. She believes that every person deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward their personal goals. A central focus of Anasia’s work is helping individuals heal from trauma and overcome barriers that interfere with daily functioning and well-being. She has experience supporting patients experiencing school avoidance, traumatic stress, and emotional dysregulation, using a strengths-based approach that recognizes each person’s unique experiences and capabilities. She works collaboratively with patients to identify practical strategies for improving relationships, emotional health, and overall quality of life. Anasia is especially passionate about trauma-focused care for children, teens, and families. She incorporates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), CAMS, and CAMS-Teen approaches to support young people facing emotional distress, trauma-related concerns, and challenges that affect their success at home, in school, and within their communities. Her goal is to help youth and families develop healthy coping skills, strengthen communication, and foster long-term emotional growth. Her therapeutic style is warm, engaging, and individualized. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and additional evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s needs. In addition to treating depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related concerns, she offers support for a variety of mental health challenges through individual therapy, group therapy, and case management services. Outside of her clinical work, Anasia enjoys exploring art as a tool for healing, writing and appreciating poetry and spoken word, learning about dream interpretation, and spending time with her children, cats, and other animals. She is also passionate about foster care advocacy, creating affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals, supporting youth development, and promoting equity and inclusion within communities.
