Maureen Seifert, MS, LPC,
About Maureen Seifert (She/Her)
Maureen Seifert helps adults and older adults across Colorado navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those managing ADHD, bipolar disorder, grief, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. Maureen creates a supportive, collaborative environment where patients can build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. A particular area of passion for Maureen is helping patients through midlife and later-life transitions. Whether facing changes in relationships, career shifts, retirement, caregiving responsibilities, loss, or evolving personal identities, she understands that major life transitions can bring both uncertainty and opportunity. She helps individuals process these changes, strengthen their sense of purpose, and adapt to new stages of life with confidence and emotional well-being. Maureen’s therapeutic approach is personalized to each patient’s needs and goals. She draws from proven interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR, while integrating additional therapeutic techniques when appropriate. She also has experience supporting individuals with insomnia and sleep-related concerns through specialized CBT for Insomnia. Her focus is on helping patients gain insight, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies that support long-term mental wellness. With a warm and approachable style, Maureen values building authentic therapeutic relationships based on trust, respect, and collaboration. She believes that healing occurs when individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Outside of her clinical work, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, staying active, and exploring new experiences. She loves bicycling, golf, and kayaking, as well as attending opera and theatre performances. Time spent outdoors and in nature helps her stay grounded and balanced. Maureen is proud to provide individual therapy and behavioral health services to adults and seniors throughout Colorado. She is committed to helping patients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and other mental health concerns with personalized, evidence-based care.
