About Yolanda Williams (She/Her)
Yolanda Williams helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Florida navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a focus on lasting emotional wellness. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy for people facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting those experiencing relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. Her approach is collaborative and personalized, helping clients build practical skills, deepen self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change. A particular area of passion for Yolanda is working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that the transition back into daily life can feel overwhelming and often requires ongoing support, structure, and encouragement. Yolanda works closely with clients during this critical stage of recovery, helping them strengthen coping strategies, maintain treatment goals, reduce the risk of relapse, and regain confidence as they move forward. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered throughout their healing journey. Yolanda draws from evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also offering additional therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s needs. She works with diverse populations, including first responders, military veterans, and women, recognizing the unique experiences and stressors that can influence mental health. Her therapeutic style is warm, respectful, and goal-oriented, emphasizing resilience, personal strengths, and sustainable growth. Before becoming a mental health professional, Yolanda developed a deep appreciation for the importance of empathy, connection, and lifelong learning. She earned her education through Trinity International University, American College of Education, and the University of Technology, bringing a broad perspective to her clinical work. Outside of the therapy office, Yolanda enjoys fishing, traveling, playing the piano, and spending time in nature. These interests help her maintain balance and reinforce her belief in the restorative value of meaningful experiences and personal well-being. Yolanda is proud to serve clients across Florida through LifeStance Health. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship concerns, or adjustment after a psychiatric hospitalization, she is dedicated to helping them take positive steps toward improved mental health and a more fulfilling life.
