Sherri Moore, MACP, LMHC,
About Sherri Moore (She/Her)
Sherri Moore helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen emotional resilience, and improve overall mental wellness. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for patients throughout Florida. Sherri creates a supportive environment where individuals and families feel heard and empowered as they work toward meaningful change. She offers therapy for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while tailoring treatment to each patient’s unique circumstances and goals. A significant area of Sherri’s practice is supporting individuals coping with trauma and PTSD. She understands how traumatic experiences can affect relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, she helps patients process difficult experiences, build healthy coping strategies, and regain a sense of stability and confidence. Her approach emphasizes emotional safety, personal growth, and long-term healing. Sherri also enjoys helping patients navigate major life transitions, behavioral challenges, and emotional difficulties across the lifespan. She works with children experiencing childhood behavior concerns, teens facing school-related challenges, and adults working through stressors associated with changing life stages. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she helps patients identify patterns, develop new perspectives, and create sustainable strategies for growth. She offers additional therapeutic modalities to meet a wide range of mental health needs. In addition to individual therapy, Sherri provides couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Her experience includes supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and other behavioral health conditions. She also has experience working with individuals using GLP-1 medications as part of their weight-loss journey, understanding the emotional and behavioral factors that often accompany health and wellness goals. Sherri earned her degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and began practicing in 2023. She is committed to providing personalized, clinically informed care that helps patients make meaningful progress toward improved mental health and well-being. Outside of her professional work, Sherri enjoys home decorating, caring for plants, spending time with her dogs, participating in community and social activities, and making memories with her family. These interests reflect her appreciation for connection, creativity, and balance in everyday life. Through LifeStance Health, Sherri Moore proudly serves children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Florida. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, or other mental health concerns, she is dedicated to helping them build healthier patterns and achieve lasting growth.
