About Maria Halpin (She/Her)
Maria Halpin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia practicing since 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Miami University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.
Maria’s approach in counseling is supportive and collaborative. She believes that counseling is a great opportunity to express thoughts and feelings, gain insight and awareness, and develop coping skills while working towards change and growth. Maria places an emphasis on building a positive therapeutic relationship that is safe and non-judgmental to help achieve the individual’s goals for therapy. Her main areas of focus include anxiety and life transitions/adjustments.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys spending time with her son and husband, visiting the zoo, and traveling.
