Celena Kemp helps children, teens, adults, and seniors throughout Georgia build healthier coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and support. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and family therapy for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, and major life transitions. Celena is especially experienced in supporting children and adolescents who are struggling with behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related stress, and family challenges. A significant focus of Celena’s work involves helping children, teens, and families connected to foster care and child welfare systems. She is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Her clinical approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and tailored to each patient’s unique experiences. She also works closely with families to strengthen communication, improve family dynamics, and develop practical strategies that support long-term emotional health and stability. Celena incorporates evidence-based therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients manage difficult emotions, develop healthier thought patterns, and build resilience. She has experience supporting individuals facing PTSD and trauma, women’s mental health concerns including postpartum depression and anxiety, and school avoidance issues. In addition to working with children and families, she also supports women, military and veteran populations, individuals with developmental disabilities, and patients navigating midlife and later-life transitions. She offers additional support for a variety of emotional and behavioral health concerns. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2016, Celena has worked in school-based services, community mental health, and child welfare settings, giving her broad experience supporting patients across multiple stages of life. She earned her education from Troy University and remains committed to helping patients feel empowered in their healing journey. Outside of her clinical work, Celena enjoys traveling, spending meaningful time with family, prioritizing self-care and wellness, and shopping. She is dedicated to helping patients throughout Georgia feel supported, equipped, and encouraged as they work toward lasting emotional wellness.
