I am an Afro-Dominican, trauma-informed bilingual therapist who enjoys working with a variety of clients. As a trained family therapist, I enjoy working with family issues, adults, and teens ages 15-19. I am committed to assisting families and individuals with breaking cycles of generational dysfunctions and learning healthy coping strategies that can help them manage their present struggles. I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I also specialize in helping women with improving their self-esteem and creating a solid sense of self.

I use a holistic integrative approach; I combine different models and tools from various psychotherapy schools to affirm the inherent value of each individual. As part of treatment, not only do I pay attention to habits, behaviors and emotions but also my client’s nutritional and spiritual health.

I believe that therapy is a joint effort where clients are given the opportunity to tap into their deeper inner wisdom.

Johanna Estevez is one of the best therapist in GA. She makes me feel seen & heard. She has a very welcoming & trusting aura. I typically switch therapists a lot bc I don’t feel safe or comfortable expressing myself to them. I’ve been seeing her for over a year now & I cannot express just how awesome she is. She has helped me through some of the worst times & I never felt judged once. Highly recommend. 10/10

She is very easy to talk to and she is very upfront which I love. I look forward to learning about myself from our talks. She allows you to direct your course but provides the needed guidelines to keep you on a positive path. I absolutely love her!
