Christina Reed, MA, LCPC,
About Christina Reed (She/Her)
Christina Reed, LCPC, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Illinois navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with patients to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. Christina provides individual and family therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals facing trauma, grief, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties. Christina is especially passionate about helping children, teens, and families experiencing childhood behavior issues. She understands that behavioral concerns can affect every aspect of family life and believes in partnering closely with parents and caregivers to create positive, lasting change. By focusing on each child’s unique strengths and developmental needs, she helps families improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build healthy patterns that support long-term success at home, at school, and in social settings. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual and family. Christina incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, along with additional evidence-based interventions when appropriate. She works with patients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and a variety of other mental health needs, creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Outside of her clinical work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and exploring nature. She is passionate about photography, cooking, and traveling, and appreciates the opportunities these activities provide for creativity, connection, and personal growth. Christina earned her education from Illinois State University and Governors State University. Through LifeStance Health, she is committed to providing high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families throughout Illinois.
