Franky Schulze, Therapist

Franky Schulze, MA, LCPC

Franky Schulze, LCPC, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Illinois navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and couples therapy for those seeking support with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, as well as a variety of additional emotional, behavioral, and relationship concerns. Franky is committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to pursue meaningful change. Franky is particularly skilled in helping individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. She works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical tools to improve emotional well-being, strengthen resilience, and support long-term personal growth. Her approach is highly individualized, recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. With advanced training in trauma treatment and certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional, Franky is passionate about helping individuals heal from the effects of trauma and move toward greater stability and fulfillment. She understands the lasting impact trauma can have on emotional health, relationships, and daily functioning, and she provides a supportive space where clients can process difficult experiences, build coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths. Franky’s clinical work frequently focuses on anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, while also addressing relationship challenges and additional mental health needs. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into treatment, tailoring interventions to each client’s specific goals. She also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and others seeking affirming, inclusive care. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2021, Franky has remained dedicated to helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and confidence in navigating life’s transitions. She earned her graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and brings a thoughtful, client-centered perspective to every therapeutic relationship. Outside of her practice, Franky enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding restoration in nature, reading, and attending live music events. These experiences help nurture the balance, curiosity, and connection she values both personally and professionally.
