Candice Moreno, LPC, MA,
About Candice Moreno (She/Her)
Candice Moreno, LPC, believes therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. She strives to create a warm and supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Candice takes a collaborative and individualized approach to counseling, recognizing that everyone’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings, providing individual and group therapy to support your emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. She believes that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is an important first step in helping clients feel safe and supported.
Candice incorporates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, build self-awareness, and navigate challenging situations. Her goal is to meet each client where they are and help them feel more confident and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. Outside of therapy, she enjoys spending time playing video games on her Nintendo Switch, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokémon Pokopia. She is also a big fan of the New York Times Games, especially Wordle and Connections, which she enjoys completing daily.
