About Kayla Myers (She/Her)

Kayla Myers helps teens, adults, older adults, and couples gain practical tools to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful personal growth. At LifeStance Health, she provides mental health services for individuals across Indiana, creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma while building resilience and confidence.

Kayla takes an integrative approach that combines evidence-based therapy with a deep understanding of human performance and well-being. She has experience helping clients work through life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, identity exploration, and emotional stress. Using interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), she tailors treatment to each person’s unique goals and circumstances. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.

A distinctive focus of Kayla’s practice is Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), she is passionate about helping athletes, performers, professionals, and high achievers strengthen mental skills that support success both in competition and everyday life. She works with clients to enhance focus, confidence, motivation, stress management, and performance under pressure, while also addressing the emotional and psychological factors that can affect achievement and overall well-being.

Kayla provides individual and couples therapy and has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and first responders. Her approach emphasizes authenticity, partnership, and creating a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to make lasting changes. In addition to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, she offers support for ADHD, couples issues, and other mental health challenges.

Outside of her clinical work, Kayla enjoys exploring nature, discovering new restaurants, and traveling. She is also a proud dog mom to a poodle and a mini bernedoodle. Her adventurous spirit extends to rock climbing and competing in Spartan obstacle course races, activities that reflect her appreciation for perseverance, growth, and pushing beyond perceived limits.
