Diane Addison, MSW, LCSW,
About Diane Addison (She/Her)
Diane Addison, LCSW, is passionate about helping individuals and couples find meaningful, lasting change through compassionate and evidence-based care. Practicing in Indiana at LifeStance Health, Diane works with adults and seniors facing a wide range of mental health concerns. She specializes in providing thoughtful, individualized therapy for those managing anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, and later-life transitions. Diane creates a welcoming, collaborative environment where clients feel genuinely heard and supported as they work toward personal growth and emotional well-being.
One area of Diane’s work she finds especially rewarding is supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including those navigating the complexities of dissociative identity disorder. She understands how past experiences can deeply affect present-day functioning and relationships, and she is committed to walking alongside clients as they reclaim their sense of safety, identity, and resilience. Using approaches such as EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, Diane tailors treatment to meet each person’s unique needs, with a focus on building skills for long-term stability and peace.
Diane also enjoys working with military members, veterans, first responders, and women’s mental health, addressing the challenges of grief, midlife transitions, relationship difficulties, and coping with medical conditions. She offers additional support through Christian counseling and faith-based treatment options for those who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into therapy.
Outside of her professional role, Diane loves traveling, spending time in nature, playing musical instruments, and being with family and pets. These personal passions enrich the balance she brings to her clinical work.
