Mary utilizes an existential template, with a fusion of contextual behavioral analysis, attachment theory, mindfulness, and cognitive approaches to build upon a client’s personal strengths. Her focus is to facilitate transitions from being stuck in life, to finding and living in purpose. Her main area of focus and/or specialties are Trauma related disorders, Anxiety disorders, Mood Disorders, substance use disorders, and grief. When she is not working, Mary likes to live a simple life, with her family and friends. She loves playing frisbee with her dogs, growing sunflowers, and loves to take trips to balance life out.

See what our patients are saying about Mary Waling

Mary Waling is caring, knowledgeable, and uses and teaches effective techniques to treat depression and anxiety. Talk therapy is nice, and it's important to be heard. However, Mary uses ACT therapy to actually teach techniques that work. ACT helped resolve many of my anxiety issues almost immediately, along with help and medication prescribed by Dr. Bevin. Good mental health treatment is hard to find. Depression and anxiety are devastating. If you're tired of just existing and want to start living life, I encourage you to seek treatment from Mary or any of the other well-qualified therapists and doctors. The sooner you call, the quicker you can get out of the dark hole you are in.
