Bailey Trotter, LMHC
Bailey Trotter is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a focus in trauma and substance abuse in Indiana who has been practicing since 2015. She has been trained in EMDR.
Bailey’s experience is widespread, but the core is often in substance use and exploring how a use disorder ripples out to affect other areas of our life and relationships. She works with individuals from adolescence into late adulthood and have training to assess and address trauma- acute and sustained. It’s important to allow the individual to identify what goals they have, and Bailey helps them meet those goals by applying cognitive behavioral strategies, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing. Clinical needs she has worked with include substance abuse, anxiety and panic disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress, and relationship discord.
Self-care has become a necessity in Bailey’s own life and treatment of her own mental health. She sees a therapist herself and makes it a priority to have time to herself to read, rock climb, paint and do yoga. Her relationships are a cornerstone to her life and wellness as well and their quality time is often a priority for her!
