About Laura Barclay (She/Her)

Laura Barclay (she/her) provides a calming, supportive space where clients can feel genuinely heard, seen, and validated. Laura believes that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all—because none of us are. Laura approaches each unique client with the understanding that healing and growth require more than just symptom management. Laura utilizes evidence based interventions like Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, while also taking a holistic approach to consider the whole person. This means not only addressing thoughts and behaviors but also the impact of one’s environment, relationships, and past experiences. By understanding these interconnected factors, Laura tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each client where they are. Laura works closely with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, ADHD, and substance use, as well as with couples and families. Laura is particularly passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate relationship and marital issues. Whether it’s communication struggles, intimacy issues, or navigating significant life transitions, Laura works collaboratively with couples to uncover underlying patterns, foster deeper understanding, and create lasting, meaningful change. Laura strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable being vulnerable, free from judgment, and supported in their journey toward healing and growth. Outside of her clinical work, Laura enjoys staying active through running and working out, as well as engaging in various wellness activities. Laura is passionate about prioritizing physical and mental well-being.
