About Sarah Joyce Green Wilmot (She/Her)

Patients seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or life transitions will find in Sarah Joyce Green Wilmot a compassionate and experienced therapist who provides individualized care grounded in evidence-based treatment. At LifeStance Health, Sarah works with teens and adults throughout Massachusetts, creating a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can develop practical skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sarah understands that emotional and behavioral challenges can affect every aspect of a person’s life. She provides individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and adults, helping clients navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, and women’s issues while also addressing a range of additional mental health needs. Sarah’s approach is warm, thoughtful, and tailored to each person’s unique goals and experiences.

Sarah is particularly passionate about helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She enjoys working with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps and helps them build insight, confidence, and effective coping strategies. Whether someone is facing academic stress, workplace pressures, relationship concerns, or major life changes, she strives to provide support that is both compassionate and clinically effective.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and parenting skills strategies when appropriate. Through these interventions, Sarah helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier responses to stress, and create sustainable habits that support long-term emotional well-being.

Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College and her graduate education at Simmons University. Since beginning her clinical practice, she has remained committed to providing high-quality mental health care that empowers clients to make lasting and meaningful changes in their lives.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, cooking, and taking long walks outdoors. During the school year, she can often be found cheering from the sidelines at her children’s soccer games and supporting their growth both on and off the field.

Sarah is proud to serve teens and adults across Massachusetts through LifeStance Health. She welcomes individuals seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns and looks forward to partnering with them on their path toward wellness.
