Jennifer Clark-Harris, MS, MEd, LMHC, LMFT, CCTP
Specializes In:
Jennifer Clark-Harris, LMHC, is dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults across Massachusetts heal, grow, and find lasting change. She provides compassionate care for individuals and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and addictions. With experience in both individual and family therapy, she creates a safe and supportive environment where clients can address difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping. Jennifer works with children, adolescents, and young adults facing school avoidance, behavioral concerns, and life transitions, as well as adults managing stress, trauma, and relationship issues. Jennifer’s greatest passion lies in helping individuals and families break free from the cycles of trauma that can affect generations. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy, working with clients who have experienced PTSD, complex trauma, and abuse. Jennifer is especially committed to supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families, helping them better understand their unique needs while building skills to thrive. Her background in child protective services gave her deep insight into the resilience of children and adolescents, and she carries that expertise into her therapeutic work, supporting survivors with care that is both empathetic and clinically grounded. She uses evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jennifer also offers psychological and neuropsychological testing to better understand her clients’ needs and provide clear, individualized treatment planning. While these are her primary tools, she integrates additional techniques—including family therapy, mindfulness, and parenting support—when helpful for progress. She also has extensive experience working with adoption and foster care populations, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, and military and first responder communities. Outside of her work at LifeStance Health, Jennifer values time with her three daughters and enjoys a variety of self-care practices that she also encourages her clients to explore. She finds peace in reading, traveling, and connecting with nature through hiking, beach walks, swimming, and gardening. Her fur family—including her dog Elvis, a guinea pig named Coco, and Momo the hamster—add joy and balance to her daily life.
