About Kiana Zerzura Angalia (She/Her)

Kiana Zerzura Angalia helps adults throughout Massachusetts navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she creates a supportive space where patients can better understand their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Kiana works with adults across a range of concerns, with particular expertise in anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms, while also providing support for many additional mental health needs.

Kiana is especially passionate about helping individuals facing grief, reproductive challenges, and women’s issues. She understands that experiences such as loss, fertility struggles, pregnancy-related concerns, and major life transitions can deeply affect emotional well-being. Her approach is grounded in helping patients process difficult emotions, strengthen self-compassion, and develop practical tools to move forward with greater confidence and hope.

In her work, Kiana integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She provides individual therapy and group therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s goals, strengths, and circumstances. She also supports individuals experiencing concerns related to sleep difficulties, health-related stress, pain management, midlife transitions, and other life challenges.

Kiana has experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, and first responders. She values creating an affirming and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where patients feel respected, understood, and empowered to make lasting changes. In addition to English, she speaks German and Swedish, allowing her to connect with patients from a variety of backgrounds.

Her educational background includes studies at Boston College and Quest University Canada. Kiana brings warmth, authenticity, and genuine curiosity to the therapeutic relationship, believing that healing is often fostered through connection, self-discovery, and purposeful action.

Outside of her clinical work, Kiana enjoys writing poetry, painting, spending time in nature, drinking tea, reading, traveling, and staying active through strength training. She is dedicated to helping adults throughout Massachusetts improve their mental health, strengthen coping skills, and create fulfilling lives aligned with their values.
