Helping patients across Massachusetts build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change is at the heart of Stephanie Deschenes’ approach to therapy. Stephanie provides individual therapy for adolescents, teens, and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. She creates a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward their personal goals. Her care is tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, helping patients develop practical skills that support long-term emotional well-being.

Stephanie is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, and depression. She understands how these concerns can affect relationships, school performance, work, self-esteem, and overall quality of life. Whether helping a teen manage academic stress and school avoidance, supporting an adult through life transitions, or guiding someone through persistent feelings of worry or low mood, Stephanie focuses on helping patients identify patterns, build coping strategies, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Her therapeutic style combines compassion with evidence-based treatment. Stephanie incorporates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop emotional regulation skills, increase self-awareness, and create lasting behavioral change. She also has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals involved in adoption or foster care experiences. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she works with a variety of other mental health concerns and life challenges.

Stephanie earned her education from Southern New Hampshire University and began practicing in 2025. As a qualified pre-licensed clinician, she remains dedicated to continued growth and learning in the mental health field to provide thoughtful, client-centered care.

Outside of her clinical work, Stephanie enjoys hiking, reading, journaling, meditation, exploring her interest in zoology and animals, watching movies and television shows, and spending time playing board games, card games, and video games. These interests help her maintain balance and bring creativity and curiosity into her work with clients.

Stephanie welcomes adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Massachusetts who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. Through LifeStance Health, she is committed to helping patients develop the tools and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
