About Kinley Millett (She/Her)
Kinley Millett helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults build practical skills to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and improve emotional well-being. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical with LifeStance Health, she provides therapy for patients throughout Maryland, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s goals. Kinley works with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health and life transition challenges. Kinley believes that successful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration. She works with clients to better understand patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior while developing effective coping strategies for lasting change. Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, and she incorporates additional evidence-based interventions when appropriate. She provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy services. A particular passion of Kinley’s is helping children, teens, and families navigate childhood behavior issues and relationship challenges. She enjoys partnering with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, build healthy family dynamics, and support positive behavioral change. Drawing from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, parenting skills training, and family-focused interventions, she helps families develop practical tools that foster connection, resilience, and growth both at home and in daily life. In addition to her clinical work, Kinley values creativity, connection, and time outdoors. She has been collecting vinyl records since her teenage years and enjoys discovering new music. She is also passionate about crafting and DIY projects, which reflect her appreciation for creativity and hands-on problem-solving. Outside of work, she spends time with her two cats, who are named after National Parks, and enjoys outdoor activities that help her stay grounded and energized. Kinley earned her education through the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the University of Utah. She is committed to providing affirming, individualized mental health care and helping patients throughout Maryland achieve meaningful progress toward their personal and emotional wellness goals.
