This is my first trip to any type of counseling. I found Dr. Herman made me feel comfortable with his initial consultation and look forward to working with him on my problems. Bob Saw Ray Moscow after Dr. Herman for therapy to work on things that I felt were out of control in my life,and causing me great anxiety, stress,and depression. After almost a year of regular visits with Dr. Moscow he always listened with a careful ear to pick out pertinent things that I said in my VENTING and suggested possible paths for me to follow. Though I've used some of his paths, MOST IMPORTANTLY, He made Me think and evaluate my past paths and I've been able to improve my future paths in life. I am feeling much better about nearly everything. I have been seeing Dr. Herman for 20 years. He's an exceptional doctor and I can't imagine seeing anyone else. I think it's gotten more complicated since lifestance took over but maybe they will get the kinks worked out. I'm editing this a year later. This office, when it was Spectrum, had lovely ladies working at the front desk. Today at my appointment there was one very young girl working on her own and she was overwhelmed and not very nice. I believe mental health needs experienced front door workers. Not a young, inexperienced person. She didn't believe me about my health id card and said I have a copay when I do not. I told her she needed to update my record because I don't have a copay. Then she left my ID on the xerox machine. Fortunately, I realized it before leaving. Dr. Herman is still awesome.

Spectrum Behavioral Health recently expanded and became “Lifestance Health”. I’ve gone to Spectrum for about 11 years or so (different locations). So far I think their new portal set up is efficient and rather easy for me to navigate. Im sure in time I’ll get a little more savvy with it. But if it makes life easier for the doctors / other staff, and the administrative assistants… I’m all for it. They have a large volume of patients to take care of and juggle. I always thought they did a great job doing this, but I surely would not be able to! So I’m glad they’ve switched to a larger community group and to a different platform that’s much easier to navigate. They definitely deserve it! 😁

After a lot of time wasted in my search for a quality psychiatrist, Dr. Herman, with Spectrum Health, is a prize doctor! He is efficient & reliable in getting medication refills, he’s kind & very easy to talk with…He came highly recommended however I needed a doctor within my insurance network for billing purposes. And so after 3 failed attempts at seeking services from the in network doctors, I found out Dr Herman’s fees were even better than what I’d have pd to an in-network doc. This area is truly lacking in quality psychological care, specifically psychiatrists! Grateful to have Dr. Herman as part of my self care team, he’s the very best!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Maas for four years and I feel she has helped me get past some tough times in my life. I’m not sure if I could have done it on my own without her help. She really listens to you and she lets you take the conversation where you want to go at that time. She will intercede if she feels she needs to ask or better understand where you are going with your thought processes. I’m very comfortable in telling her anything that I’m thinking or feeling at any given time.

I’ve been seeing Jennifer for two months now and she is changing my life! Not only her but the amazing staff that makes the atmosphere so welcoming!
