I recently purchased a mobility chair due to having a very bad knee and I told Dr. Maas about it at my last session. The first thing she asked me was how do I like my new chair? I told her it’s really great. It makes it so much easier to get around my apartment complex and I really love it. She also knows that I have a great love for animals and she knows that I helped a female Fox that was limping severely back in May by throwing out peanuts for three months so the Fox could rest her paw and heal. I saw the Fox in the wee hours of the morning prior to my appointment. The Fox has put on some weight and is thriving due to my helping her by giving her the fat and calories she needed to heal and survive. I know it’s the same Fox because she has a permanent limp. The fact that she was burning calories due to the injury trying to heal and now seeing her look as good as she does. I found out Foxes are resilient and this Fox has made great strides in her ability to take care of herself now without my help. It really made me feel good to see this Fox doing as well as she is and she remains a wild animal. She never associated the peanuts with humans due to my throwing them out before they would be out and about to do their hunting.

My practioner's great... but the checkin-process for the Zoom telehealth sessions with her have become a bloody nightmare. Since I don't have sign-on difficulties for any other zoom meetings for organizations to which I belong, this has to be on the Lifestance end of things. Instructions are incomplete and/or POORLY WRITTEN. So much so, that I couldn't get signed on for an appointment several months ago, couldn't get support from lifestance and was billed for a session because I "was a no-show" !!! AND i HAD BEEN ATTEMPTING TO DO SO FOR 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT TIME.

Absolutely the best most thorough Clinician I have met yet. I was desperately struggling with depression and anxiety, and just coming out of the hospital. Dr Katherine Maas saved my life. I mean it. I have been a patient of hers for about 5 yrs, and I would fly across the country to see her if I had to. I finally have hope in my life again. I couldn’t have done without her often undivided attention. She never takes the short cuts. Oh! And she does Telehealth.

Lifestance Health has saved my life. I have been a patient for five years. I mean it when I say, I was at the end of my rope when my clinician started treating me. Highly recommend Kathryn Maas. For depression and anxiety. Good Practitioners are very hard to find. I’d fly across the country to see Dr Maas if I had to. Perfect fit for me.

Has helped me get through some rough times. Shows willingness to listen, responds when contacted, provides treatment options pharmaceutically or holistically if that’s what you would like. So glad I found her and enjoy working with her. Update 4/25/26- she’s gotten me through 2 terrible time periods 😂

She has been amazing ensuring that my medications are working and getting me on the right doses. She genuinely cares and takes my current life situations into account every interaction we have, and her follow up and follow through is wonderful. I'm so happy she's my psychiatrist
