Diana Laite, LCSW, is a compassionate and client-centered therapist offering individualized therapy for adolescents and adults across Maine. At the heart of her work is a deep belief that healing begins with a supportive, authentic relationship. She creates a warm, empathetic space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions and life experiences– building self-awareness and empowering growth.

Diana has built a career rooted in client-centered care, offering support for individuals navigating eating disorders, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and reproductive mental health challenges. Diana works closely with individuals to help them develop coping strategies, manage stress, and achieve personal growth. Her work extends to women and LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring an inclusive and affirming space for all.

Diana specializes in supporting clients heal from disordered eating and rebuild a positive relationship with food and body image. Drawing on both professional training and personal insight, she integrates Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, attuned eating practices, and interoceptive awareness to support clients in developing body trust and self-compassion. Creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming, and empowering, she helps clients move away from diet culture and towards body trust, self-compassion and liberation from weight stigma.

Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and mindfulness-based practices. In addition, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while maintaining a core focus on the clients self directed growth. She is also skilled in parenting support and family dynamics, offering guidance to individuals seeking to strengthen their relationships and resilience.

Diana is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and remains engaged with the latest research and best practices in the field. She brings warmth, authenticity, and collaboration to her work, helping clients build coping strategies, deepen self-awareness, and move toward lasting emotional wellness.

Beyond her professional life, Diana enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children, often exploring the woods, hiking trails, or relaxing by the water. She finds joy in nature, reading, art, and time spent at her family’s off-grid camp—activities that reflect the grounding and intuitive presence she brings into her practice.
