Dawn Gaden, MA, LPC,
About Dawn Gaden (She/Her)
Dawn Gaden, LPC, helps adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. Through LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for adults across Michigan, helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change. Dawn works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as those facing a variety of other mental health concerns and life transitions. A particular area of passion for Dawn is supporting adults through significant life changes, including midlife transitions and later-life transitions. She understands that periods of change can bring uncertainty, loss, shifting identities, and emotional stress. By creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment, she helps clients develop coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. Dawn’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies. She partners with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and cultivate greater self-awareness. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience helping individuals address concerns related to grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, alcohol and drug use issues, hoarding, women’s issues, and other mental health challenges. She earned her education from Michigan State University and Oakland University, where she built a strong foundation for providing clinically informed, patient-centered care. Outside of her clinical work, Dawn enjoys staying active and connected to nature. Her interests include yoga, paddleboarding, hiking, reading, and training for half marathons, activities that reflect her appreciation for balance, wellness, and personal growth.
