Meghan Dees, LMSW, believes that in order to truly help clients to make a positive change in their lives, there needs to be a strong foundation of trust. This is important in order to help clients to give themselves permission to be vulnerable and to allow themselves to be seen. Once this occurs, we can work together to experience a greater sense of peace and acceptance within our lives and ourselves.

Meghan earned a Bachelor’s in Social Work at Saginaw Valley State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. She works with children, adolescents and adults with anxiety and depression symptoms, resulting from low self worth, traumatic events, large groups of people, negative thinking and more.

In session, Meghan uses cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, as well as a strength’s based perspective to assist clients in identifying the messages they send to themselves that fuel their thoughts/feelings of shame. Meghan believes it is these messages that steal the true joy from our lives.
