Laurie Lahti is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since Spring, 2022. She graduated from Oakland University in Michigan with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Laurie is passionate about helping clients to relieve suffering, build resilience, and pursue wellness. With gentleness and compassion, she strives to create a safe space for clients, supporting them as they share their life journeys. She uses an integrated approach to help clients build self-awareness and pursue healing.

In her spare time, Laurie enjoys yoga, dancing, reading, nature, and time with her family. She is trained as a yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga since 2011. Additionally, Laurie’s first career was in public education, teaching high-school English for 25 years.
