About Gayle Brown (She/Her)

Gayle Brown, LMSW, helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Michigan navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy for individuals seeking support with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, as well as many other emotional and behavioral health needs. Gayle creates a welcoming, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. A central focus of Gayle’s work is helping people manage anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals facing midlife and later-life transitions, helping them adjust to changes in relationships, health, family dynamics, and personal identity. Through a thoughtful and personalized approach, she helps patients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical strategies for moving forward with confidence and purpose. Gayle also has experience working with teens, individuals connected to adoption and foster care, and those with autism spectrum disorders. She understands that every person’s circumstances are unique and tailors treatment to meet each patient’s goals, strengths, and challenges. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and family therapy approaches, she helps patients develop healthier thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, enhance relationships, and achieve lasting growth. She also offers additional therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of concerns. Outside of her clinical work, Gayle enjoys expressing her creativity through art, spending time reading, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, exploring the outdoors, being with friends, shopping, and caring for pets. These personal interests help her maintain a balanced perspective and deepen her appreciation for the diverse experiences and stories each patient brings to therapy. Gayle earned degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Spring Arbor University. She is committed to providing high-quality mental health services that support emotional well-being and personal growth for patients across Michigan.
