Huri Kushner is a clinical social worker, who has been practicing since 1999. He graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s degree in Social Work.

He uses a collaborative, person-centered, supportive style of therapy, which seeks to improve your overall emotional, mental, psychological, and behavioral functioning. You will tell your own story, identifying your hopes and dreams as we start our journey together to work toward your own healing. Using an evidence-based, integrative approach, his goal is to help you develop insight, healthy coping skills, and hope so that your therapy experience is empowering, productive, and results-oriented. Also, living and working in Mexico for over four years has provided him with a unique cultural context as a clinician that emphasizes social justice, family unity, and harmony over division.

Very prompt with their appointment times. We have never had to sit and wait longer than maybe a minute until the provider becomes available. The booking process at your initial intake appointment may seem a little lengthy however, I feel the more information and history they can get, the better they are equipped to schedule us with the right person in order to help treat and know what questions to ask. Also very friendly staff, clean building and very accommodating to our schedule.

Excellent therapist. Knowledgeable. Uses relevant tools vs. the usual "talk therapy". I was hesitant to start therapy again because I've found many therapists to not be very helpful. Huri is great if you really want to dig deep and change things. He is a wonderful, caring, thoughtful therapist. Highly recommend.
