About Lea DiChiara (She/Her)
Lea DiChiara, LPC, helps teens, adults, and older adults build practical skills to navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, and reach meaningful personal goals. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for patients across Michigan. Lea works collaboratively with each individual to create a supportive environment where healing, growth, and lasting change can take place.
Lea is especially passionate about helping individuals experiencing anxiety, PTSD and trauma, and alcohol and drug use issues. She understands that these concerns can affect every aspect of daily life, from relationships and work performance to self-confidence and overall health. Her approach focuses on helping patients gain insight into their experiences while developing effective strategies for managing symptoms, strengthening resilience, and improving quality of life.
In addition to these areas of focus, Lea works with teens, adults, and seniors facing concerns such as ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, sleep disorders, and other mental health challenges. She offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, along with additional services tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. Her therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches to support emotional regulation, healthier thought patterns, and sustainable coping skills.
Lea earned her degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is committed to ongoing professional growth and to providing care that reflects current best practices in mental health treatment.
Outside of her clinical work, Lea enjoys spending time with her growing family, listening to music, playing video games, exploring audiobooks, discovering great coffee, and traveling. These interests help her maintain balance and bring warmth and authenticity to her work with patients.
