About Kim Christi (She/Her)
Kim Christi helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Michigan navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with LifeStance Health, she creates a welcoming space where patients and families can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Kim provides treatment for a broad range of mental health concerns, with particular expertise in anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing many other emotional and behavioral challenges. Kim is passionate about helping patients develop the skills needed to manage overwhelming emotions, heal from difficult experiences, and create lasting change. She works with children experiencing behavioral concerns, teens facing school and social challenges, and adults navigating stress, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Using a collaborative approach, she tailors treatment to each patient’s unique goals and circumstances, helping them gain confidence and improve overall emotional well-being. Her therapeutic style combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy. Kim incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Therapy into treatment when appropriate. She provides individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, case management, and intensive outpatient services. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she offers support for a variety of other mental health concerns and life challenges. Kim believes that strong relationships and healthy coping strategies are essential foundations for mental wellness. She works closely with children, adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families to foster insight, improve communication, and support positive change across all stages of life. She earned her education at Wayne State University and remains committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Outside of her clinical work, Kim enjoys gardening and creating art, activities that reflect her appreciation for growth, creativity, and self-expression.
