About Bianca McQueen (She/Her)

Bianca McQueen, LCSW, helps children, teens, and adults find steadiness, healing, and practical skills to navigate life’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals and families across Michigan. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides care for children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults, supporting those who feel overwhelmed by emotional distress, family conflict, or the lasting impact of trauma while building a path toward resilience and healthier relationships.

With a strong foundation in family systems and trauma-informed care, Bianca specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, including PTSD. Her work often focuses on children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges, school avoidance, or emotional regulation difficulties, as well as adults navigating life transitions, parenting stress, or relational strain. She offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and family-centered interventions. Bianca also serves families involved in adoption and foster care and offers additional areas of focus beyond her primary specialties to meet diverse clinical needs.

A central passion of Bianca’s work is trauma-focused treatment for children and families. She has extensive experience using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child and Problematic Sexual Behavior–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PBT-PSB) to help young clients and caregivers process traumatic experiences, strengthen attachment, and restore a sense of safety. Her approach emphasizes collaboration with caregivers, skill-building, and developmentally appropriate strategies that support long-term emotional well-being.

Bianca brings more than two decades of professional experience working with families, children, and community systems, which informs her thoughtful, culturally responsive care. She also provides services in Spanish. Outside of clinical work, she enjoys filmmaking, ceramics, yoga, and reading, and she is deeply interested in wellness, parenting, and increasing literacy.
