Kristen Premian is a Licensed Associate Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, and Clinical Certified Trauma Professional in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2022. She received her master’s degree from Kean University in clinical mental health and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Treatment. Kristen previously worked in inpatient psychiatric settings, community mental health, and intensive outpatient facilities. She has more than eight years of experience working with individuals with depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, bipolar disorders, trauma, neurodivergent, and intellectual disabilities. By utilizing a person centered, collaborative approach combined evidenced based interventions and holistic practices, Kristen creates a safe and open space for clients to share, be heard and seen.
