About Margaret Schantz (She/Her)
Margaret Schantz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey who has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. She has an MSW degree from Rutgers University. Margaret has had the opportunity to provide individual and group therapy in a variety of settings with both adolescents and adults from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Most recently, she has been a program director for an intensive outpatient program that serves clients experiencing an acute level of symptoms and has also worked as a clinician within that program. Margaret provides a strengths-based and person-centered approach, while integrating ACT, CBT, and DBT concepts to achieve desired goals. She believes in taking a collaborative approach and creating a safe, open space through empathy and compassion. Outside of work, Margaret enjoys spending time with family.
