About Ron Packard (He/Him)
Ron Packard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2016. Ron is passionate about helping clients explore possibilities, navigate change, and grow into their goals. He believes, at a fundamental level, working towards your goals is what supports an engaged and fulfilled life of vitality—it’s in the journey. Ron has experience working alongside clients from a wide variety of ages, cultural backgrounds, and concerns they may bring to therapy. His approach as a clinician is collaborative, exploratory, supportive, and encouraging. Ron utilizes techniques in therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused, and Mindfulness, from a Strengths-Based Positive Psychology perspective. In his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with friends in the outdoors as an avid hiker, mountain peak-bagger, and explorer. He has more recently begun distance road and trail running. He also has a passion for the arts, culture, and traveling to new places.
