Sha’Von McKnight helps teens, adults, and seniors across Nevada navigate life’s most challenging seasons with clarity, stability, and renewed hope. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families seeking support with anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns. Her approach is trauma-informed, structured, and deeply respectful, ensuring each client feels understood while working toward meaningful, measurable progress. Sha’Von specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and alcohol and drug use issues, while also supporting clients facing complex transitions such as midlife changes, grief, and relationship stress. She works with teens (15–17), young adults, adults, and older adults, tailoring treatment plans to each developmental stage. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and faith-based treatment when desired, she integrates practical coping strategies with insight-oriented work to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term recovery. She offers Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, and higher levels of care including IOP and PHP, along with additional services. A significant focus of Sha’Von’s work includes supporting individuals recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital, those participating in court ordered treatment, and families navigating parental custody concerns. She understands the stress and uncertainty that can accompany these experiences and provides structured, clinically sound care designed to promote stability, accountability, and forward movement. Her experience also includes working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals involved in adoption or foster care systems. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and non-prescribing clinician, Sha’Von combines clinical expertise with warmth and authenticity. Outside of her practice, she enjoys reading, walking and hiking, and writing poetry—creative outlets that reflect her belief in reflection and personal growth.
