Brian Hart, BA History, MA Eduction, MSW Social Work,
About Brian Hart (He/Him)
Brian Hart helps adults and seniors across Ohio navigate life’s challenges with practical, evidence-based mental health care tailored to their individual needs. As a Licensed Social Worker with LifeStance Health, he provides individual therapy focused on improving emotional well-being, building resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change. Brian supports patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, while offering additional expertise across a wide range of mental health concerns.
Brian is particularly passionate about working with individuals facing complex life circumstances, including those recently discharged from psychiatric hospitalization, those involved in court-ordered treatment, and families navigating parental custody challenges. He brings a steady, nonjudgmental presence to these situations, helping patients regain stability, develop coping strategies, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
His therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help patients better understand their thoughts, regulate emotions, and build healthier patterns. While he specializes in anxiety, depression, and trauma, Brian offers support for additional concerns and tailors treatment to each person’s goals. He also has experience working with first responders, recognizing the unique stressors and demands of those roles.
Outside of his clinical work, Brian enjoys camping, hiking, ultra-endurance running, woodworking, plant-based cooking, playing guitar, snowboarding, and backcountry skiing—interests that reflect his appreciation for balance, creativity, and personal growth.
