About Danielle Vancura (She/Her)

Danielle Vancura is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2011. She obtained her Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hiram College. Danielle’s previous experience includes more than a decade of working with individuals exposed to trauma and experience working with individuals, families, and children in community-based, school-based, and hospital settings. Danielle sees children/adolescents and adults individually. She has experience working with a wide range of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD.

She has extensive experience working with victims of crime, sexual trauma, domestic violence, bullying, and narcissistic abuse. A particular area of interest is assisting individuals in the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent populations. Danielle uses a client-centered and strength-based approach. She believes that everyone is the driver of their therapy, and she is the GPS, and sometimes there might be re-routing and detours.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her Mini-Golden Doodle and the rest of her family. She enjoys time outside, primarily when it is not too chilly, and loves to be on her kayak. Danielle also enjoys yoga to recharge for the day.
