Gloria Kinney, LPCC,
About Gloria Kinney (She/Her)
Gloria Kinney is dedicated to helping teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, respect, and evidence-based care. Serving patients throughout Ohio through LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and a variety of other mental health concerns. Gloria works collaboratively with each patient to create a supportive environment where healing, personal growth, and meaningful change can occur.
With experience supporting individuals across many stages of life, Gloria understands that emotional well-being is influenced by personal experiences, relationships, health concerns, and life transitions. She helps patients develop practical strategies to manage symptoms, build resilience, and improve overall quality of life. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based techniques. She also offers psychological testing as part of her comprehensive approach to mental health care.
Gloria has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. She is passionate about helping patients better understand the impact of difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and move toward emotional well-being. In addition to these areas, she provides support for a wide range of concerns, including grief, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use challenges, and life transitions.
She welcomes patients from diverse backgrounds and has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and military veterans. Gloria strives to create an inclusive, affirming space where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. She also offers additional therapeutic services and interventions to meet a variety of clinical needs.
Outside of her clinical work, Gloria enjoys exploring the arts, including music, theater, and museums. She also loves traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. These experiences enrich her appreciation for human connection, creativity, and lifelong learning.
