Kenna Brooks helps adults across Ohio navigate life’s most challenging moments with clarity, resilience, and compassionate, evidence-based care. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy for adults and seniors seeking support with emotional well-being, relationships, and personal growth. Kenna creates a collaborative and affirming space where clients feel understood and empowered to move forward.

She has clinical expertise in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, while also supporting individuals through identity development and major life transitions. Kenna integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships. She works with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military and veteran populations, and individuals on the autism spectrum, while offering additional areas of expertise to meet a wide range of mental health needs.

Kenna is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands the unique challenges that can arise during this transition and provides structured, compassionate care to help clients stabilize, rebuild routines, and regain a sense of control. Her approach emphasizes continuity of care, safety, and skill-building to support long-term recovery and emotional wellness.

Since beginning her practice in 2018, Kenna has been dedicated to delivering thoughtful, client-centered care. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her wife and their pets, getting lost in fantasy novels and historical nonfiction, and watching true crime documentaries. She is also passionate about developing a future certificate program to support and train fellow therapists.
