About Megan Killip (She/Her)

Megan Killip is a social worker at LifeStance Health who provides compassionate mental health care for children, adolescents, teens, and adults across Ohio. She creates a welcoming and collaborative therapy environment where patients can feel supported while working through emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. Megan offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, helping patients develop healthy coping skills, strengthen communication, and build confidence in navigating life’s transitions.

Megan has experience treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting patients facing concerns related to childhood behavior issues, grief, school avoidance, and women’s mental health. She is especially passionate about helping individuals and families impacted by alcohol and drug use issues, recognizing the importance of compassionate, evidence-based support during recovery and healing. Megan works closely with patients to identify underlying stressors, improve emotional awareness, and create practical strategies for long-term wellness.

Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, and couples/marital counseling to help patients better understand patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Megan also provides parenting support and guidance for families navigating behavioral and developmental concerns. She has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals involved in adoption or foster care systems, patients with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to these areas, she supports patients with a variety of other mental health and relationship concerns.

Megan earned her education from the University of Cincinnati and has been practicing since 2022. She believes therapy should feel both empowering and approachable, and she values building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and authenticity.

Outside of her clinical work, Megan enjoys taking daily walks while listening to podcasts, reading books, collecting vinyl records, and exploring print media. She also enjoys museums, board games, and playing volleyball with friends and family.
