Alexis Witte is a licensed independent social worker. She received her master’s degree from The Ohio State University and her bachelor’s degree from University of Dayton. She has previously worked providing therapy to school-age children, adults, and couples in both home and office settings. She has also served as an administrator for behavioral health services in the juvenile justice system and as an executive director of a substance use disorder and mental health agency. She has extensive experience providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults utilizing cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing. Her specialty areas include trauma, dual diagnoses, personality disorders, children and families, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.

I saw Alexis when I was 13 in 2022 ish or 2023 and struggling with Bipolar 1-mixed, which then we didn't know. She has a calming approach, and can meet anyone in any level of crisis or pain at their level. She helped me with 5,4,3,2,1-something I have never forgotten. Thank you for helping!! It was emotionally uplifting , insightful , encouraging and relieving. Alexis is " Top shelf " " First 'class " She' s attentive and She is very Locked-in. She makes me feel so very comfortable , She makes me feel like I can let me my fences down , my guard completely- down .....The walls of Jericho fall completely from the very second I walk in the door to the very second I walk out !! I am fully & entirely grateful as well as feeling 1000 % safe.

My 26 yr old son came to see Alexis for an initial visit. The appointment went well. Alexis was a good listener and seem to have alot of compassion. My son enjoyed talking to her and looks forward to their next visit.
